CSET: Spanish
    
The World Languages subtests taken toward a Single Subject Teaching Credential differ from the subtests taken toward a Bilingual Authorization. For more information on certification requirements, see Tests Used Toward Certification.
CSET subtests used toward a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Spanish:
	
	- Spanish Subtest I (test code 145)
- Spanish Subtest II (test code 146)
- Spanish Subtest III (test code 147)
CSET subtests used toward a Bilingual Authorization for Spanish:
                                                 
	- Spanish Subtest III (test code 147)
- World Languages Subtest IV (test code 250)
- Spanish Subtest V (test code 258)
    You may register to take any one subtest in a single test session.
	
		
		
			Computer-based test (CBT) and online-proctored test:
            
                - Subtest I: 40 multiple-choice questions and 3 constructed-response questions
- Subtest II: 40 multiple-choice questions and 1 constructed-response question
- Subtest IV: 50 multiple-choice questions
- Subtest V: 50 multiple-choice questions
Computer-based test (CBT) only:- Subtest III: 30 multiple-choice questions and 6 constructed-response questions
 
	 
	            
	     
	
		  
		
			Computer-Based Testing
			Subtest I: 1 hour and 45 minutes
Subtest II: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Subtest III: 2 hours and 15 minutes
Subtests IV and V: 1 hour and 15 minutes per subtest
			15 additional minutes are provided to complete a nondisclosure agreement and tutorial.
		
		
			Online Proctoring
            Subtest I: 1 hour and 45 minutes
Subtest II: 1 hour and 30 minutes
Subtests IV and V: 1 hour and 15 minutes per subtest
			15 additional minutes are provided to complete a nondisclosure agreement and tutorial.
		
	 
	
		
		
			Computer-Based Testing
			You may take restroom breaks during testing. Time taken for breaks is considered part of the available testing time.
		
		
			Online Proctoring

			Subtests I, II, and III include one or more assignments that allow you to use special characters (e.g., diacritical marks) in your typed responses. Refer to the

Subtest III is not available via online proctoring.
