CSET: Health Science

CSET: Health Science consists of 3 subtests:

• Subtest I (test code 178)
• Subtest II (test code 179)
• Subtest III (test code 180)

For computer-based testing at a test center, you may register to take any one subtest or all three subtests in a single test session.

For testing remotely via online proctoring, Subtests I, II, and III are administered in separate testing sessions. You must register for each subtest separately.

Format

Computer-based test (CBT) and online-proctored test:

• Subtest I: 40 multiple-choice questions and 2 constructed-response questions
• Subtest II: 40 multiple-choice questions and 2 constructed-response questions
• Subtest III: 40 multiple-choice questions and 1 constructed-response question

Session Length

Computer-Based Testing
Subtests I and II: 1 hour and 45 minutes per subtest
Subtest III: 1 hour and 15 minutes
All 3 subtests in a single session: 4 hours and 45 minutes

Online Proctoring

Breaks

Test Results

Computer-Based Testing
Test results are available within 5 weeks of testing.
Review test results release dates.
Candidates will receive a receipt of completion at the conclusion of their test center appointment.

Online Proctoring
Test results are available within 4 weeks of testing.
Review test results release dates.
Candidates taking an online-proctored test will not receive a receipt of completion when their test ends.
